Mauro Andriole

Creator of the Archetypical Structure | Philosopher of Science, Interdisciplinary Researcher, Visual Artist

Mauro Andriole is a philosopher of science and interdisciplinary researcher, creator of the Archetypical Structure (A.S.). His 35‑year trajectory as a visual artist – with exhibitions in museums and galleries, alongside specialised publications – functions as an empirical and symbolic research protocol. Grounded in a systemic worldview and psychological training, his work maps ancestral symbology, Brazilian indigenous knowledge, and inter‑ethnic dynamics, integrating them into a comparative hermeneutics of sacred traditions (Christianity, Taoism, Vedanta, Kabbalah). The epistemological foundation of the A.S. emerges from a critical dialogue between the philosophy of science (Popper, Kuhn, Bachelard, Merleau‑Ponty, Leibniz) and archetypal/transpersonal psychology (Jung, Assagioli, Hillman, Fromm, Wilber). In this synthesis, art ceases to be representation and becomes methodology: each artwork and article documents the clinical and theoretical gestation of the A.S.
